Ethel Hollenbaugh, 2018 SHA President

Dear Members,

I am honored and privileged to serve a second term and be your 2018 Sevierville Hospitality Association President. As we look forward to this year we have great things planned for this organization:

  • monthly meetings with informative speakers,
  • the 17th Annual Sevier County Hospitality Trade Show,
  • and our 15th Annual SHA Mini-Golf Tournament.

Your membership and participation in these events make it possible for us to provide scholarships to seniors graduating from Sevier County high schools  and support  ETSU's and Walters State Community College’s hospitality and culinary training programs. We are able to donate funds to charitable organizations whose work benefit the employees, residents and often guests to our area. And third, it enables us to donate money to the Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Association’s Political Action Committee for their work with our legislators on issues that impact our industry.

I encourage you to be involved. If you’re not sure how, just ask! Our board will help get you plugged-in in a way that will be beneficial to you as a member business.

Our meetings are a great way to network and to learn about what is going on not only in our community, but also in the state organization. The Trade Show is the largest of its kind across the state and is an opportunity for you to highlight your business to the owners, decision makers and front line employees. Our Mini-Golf Tournament is just pure and simple FUN, anyone can do it! Plus it raises money for our scholarships. In addition, your business could host a monthly meeting or provide the breakfast, present a program topic, or even donate an item for our monthly raffle. Become involved and let’s get to know each other better!

I look forward to see you at our next meeting!
